From animal bones the animal is reborn. According to the ritual of some traditional cultures, if the hunted beast’s bones have been preserved and buried to recompose its skeleton, a new animal will be born again from them.
The symbolism of the animal bones and skulls hints at the natural balance law and at the bond between the hunter and the hunted animal, that is between predator and prey.
We could also stretch this concept to the point that we are able to feel the animal’s spirit in its bones.
This concept is part of Animal Spirits’ mythology.
